PROJECT: BRAND, WEBSITE, AND MARKETING MATERIALS
Girl in the Wild is a Canadian non-profit that provides free confidence-building camps to teenagers who identify as girls, non-binary, or gender-queer. Our goal was to support the organization in creating a connected and impactful brand experience—one that speaks to both the youth who attend camp and the people who make it possible through their support.
What We did:
- Brand and marketing strategy
- Website strategy, copywriting, and design
- Web development in Craft CMS
- Social media content and design
- Apparel and merch
- Stationery and packaging
- Print collateral (postcards, tent cards, pop-up banner)
- Internal document design

background
Girl in the Wild is more than a client—it’s part of who we are. Founded by Kim, who also leads our team at Flipside, this organization is the beating heart of our work and values. Since its inception in 2018, Flipside has proudly donated time and talent to support Girl in the Wild’s evolving needs across branding, communications, and digital presence.
From the start, the goal was clear: build a seamless and emotionally resonant experience for two audiences—the teens who come to camp looking for connection and confidence, and the donors and sponsors who make the magic possible. This meant creating a strong, consistent presence across digital platforms and real-world touchpoints.
Over the past six years, we’ve delivered on that promise by developing a strategic and visually compelling website, designing apparel and branded merchandise, and producing an array of marketing and communication materials. Because the organization relies entirely on individual and corporate donors, it was essential that every piece feel intentional, inspiring, and aligned with their mission.
You can support Girl in the Wild and the good work they’re doing to help the next generation rise here.
